What do we do at Alom Infra?
We invest in infrastructure and energy projects. We analyze investment opportunities such as energy, infrastructure, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, among others that benefit Mexico’s development, in order to later invest in attractive projects that complement the current project portfolio, always with a long-term perspective. Currently, we have two vehicles, FIBRAeMX and CKD IM.
We optimize the operation of our projects. The projects are operated by our partners with a recognized track record in the infrastructure sector. We participate in decision-making and lead the financial and tax optimization of the projects to improve returns for our investors.
We generate stable returns for our investors. Thanks to our investment philosophy focused on infrastructure projects with an operating track record and our ongoing work in optimizing our portfolio, we provide our investors with a stable and attractive return profile.
We consider the environment and social impact. Our investment decisions and the management of our projects take into account the highest standards of environmental, social, and governance responsibility (ESG), protecting our investments and contributing to the sustainable development of the country.

Strategy
We specialize in infrastructure, which provides deeper understanding that translates into better investment decisions and more focused asset management.
We focus on projects where we can make a difference through financial, tax, and/or operational added value, actively participating in corporate governance.
We develop strategic partnerships with operating partners that enhance both the consolidation of projects in the current portfolio and provide access to investment opportunities in new projects.
We actively seek opportunities for organic growth within our projects.
We leverage our flexibility and scale to make investments in third-party projects.
We actively look for projects that add value and complement the current project portfolio in terms of risk and return.
We prioritize the alignment of interests with our investors and with key project stakeholders.
We implement best environmental, social, and corporate governance practices in our projects.
We are agile, which allows us to efficiently assess and, when appropriate, execute investment opportunities in the market.
CKD Infraestructura México (CKD IM) – the precursor institution to Alom Infra – signs a co-investment agreement with CDPQ, a Canadian pension fund and one of the largest in the world, focused on investing in infrastructure and energy in Mexico.
CKD IM carries out its first issuance on the Mexican Stock Exchange, authorized by the National Banking and Securities Commission, for an amount of MXN $17,215 million.
CKD IM makes its first investment, acquiring a stake in OVT from ICA, in a platform of 4 federal and state highways.
CKD IM carries out its second issuance on the Mexican Stock Exchange, authorized by the National Banking and Securities Commission, for an amount of MXN $1,289 million.
CKD IM makes an investment in Altán Redes, a wholesale mobile telecommunications network whose goal was to reach 92.2% of the Mexican population. The group of investors backing Altán Redes included, among others, IFC, Morgan Stanley Infrastructure, and CDPQ.
CKD IM carries out its third issuance on the Mexican Stock Exchange for an amount of MXN $390 million.
CKD IM carries out its fourth issuance on the Mexican Stock Exchange, authorized by the National Banking and Securities Commission, for an amount of MXN $400 million.
CKD IM makes an investment, together with CDPQ, in the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense, a company controlled by Aleatica, which in turn is a subsidiary of IFM Investors, one of the most active Australian pension funds globally in infrastructure investment.
CKD IM formalizes its investment in Kino Energía, a platform of eight solar and wind energy projects with the largest capacity in the country. These projects were developed by ENEL Green Power. The transaction was carried out jointly with CDPQ.
CKD IM was a pioneer as the first infrastructure fund in LATAM to sign the responsible investment principles.
CKD IM exits the investment in Altán Redes after leading the company’s restructuring process.
Alom Infra emerges as the consolidating institution for the operations of CKD IM and Fibra E Mx, as well as future strategic initiatives.
Fibra E Mx carries out its initial issuance on BIVA, authorized by the CNBV, for an amount of MXN $6,639 million.
As part of its initial issuance, Fibra E Mx acquires its stake in OVT, a platform of four federal and state highways, which was sold by CKD IM.
As part of its initial issuance, Fibra E Mx acquires stakes in three road projects, the Maroma portfolio, from Coconal.
ALOM Infra files the preliminary registration with BIVA and the CNBV for the ALOM Gwatt issuance, a vehicle specialized in investing in and managing energy assets — renewable energy generation; conventional; distributed; batteries and energy efficiency; and transportation and hydrocarbon storage infrastructure — in Mexico.
